Instagram Love from Chad Gilbert...

We were very excited to see musician Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory) share our new book with his social network via Instagram.
Back in 2004 Gunnar did all of the artwork for New Found Glory's record CATALYST. We thought the stuff was pretty cool...

So, if you haven't picked it up yet, here's a LINK to purchase "In the Beginning" by Gunnar

In the Begining...

Ahh.. remember your first tattoo. I do, I still have it after about twenty years. A few weeks back the son of the artist who did it, Pete Jr. hit me up with an e-mail and told me his dad was cutting his hours back and was cleaning up the shop a bit, going through some old flash and drawings. He asked me what the first tattoo I had gotten from his dad, looked like. I didn't really think much about it until he sent me an email and when I opened it there was my tattoo! His dad had kept every stencil he had created. I couldn't believe it, this drawing is 20 years old. It made my week!

Mrs. Jessica...International Cover Girl

Our girl Mrs. Jessica is featured on the cover of the new International Skin Shots tattoo mag. She looks great, and as you can imagine it's great to tell people that when you call Pulse, your order may be taken by an international cover model. That's classy.

Sons of Anarchy / Pulse Tattoo

Here at Pulse we have been fans of the "Sons of Anarchy" show since it started. We got a phone call last week letting us know that next week on the season finally our machines and equipment will be featured in one of the scenes. Henry Rollin's character A.J. Weston is going to get tattooed with a Pulse machine in a tattoo shop scene. We have worked with this prop company before and our stuff has been featured on "Nip/Tuck" and "Prison Break". It's pretty cool to see your stuff on T.V., so tune in and check it out.

Just A Squirrel Trying To Get A Nut

I caught our Katie the other day wearing this really cool necklace. It was a birthday gift from Jessica and was designed by tattoo artist Hanna Aitchison. Hannah has designed a bunch of cool jewelry.
You can check out her new line of jewelry here http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Righteous-Swag__W0QQ_armrsZ1. Hannah has also been doing some great work and has other merch available at her site http://www.hannahaitchison.com/
Interesting foot note, Katie has a squirrel phobia. Nothing like a talisman to ward off the bad Peter Brady Hu-Du, good thinking.
